Spritely dance music from one of its best practicioners in the mid-1920's. Bernie's orchestra was never a true Jazz outfit, but at this point in time it was fun to listen to - as many early radio
listeners were finding, tuning in to his east-coast remote broadcasts. Brunswick was making their first electric records when this side was made (January 8, 1926). It's got some distortion in the louder parts,
due to the engineers not knowing their craft yet, but the quieter parts sound remarkably vivid. The surface had some crackles in it, which responded very well to noise reduction.
