Fred recorded this twice, once for Columbia disc and again for Indestructible cylinder, and no one else seems to have touched this cynically humorous song. The disc version can be heard on
"archive.org", but this is the 2-minute cylinder version made around the same time, October of 1910. The author of this song isn't known, but it is
thoroughly in keeping with the waltz-song style of the era. The condition of the cylinder was very good and only needed to have rumble attenuated plus the odd click and pop removed.
